Cable Tray Drawings and Fittings

This page compiles cable tray drawings and fittings used by The Sun for technical consultation, specification coordination and project-based manufacturing. Engineers can refer to the joint-hole arrangements, horizontal and vertical bends, tees, crosses, reducers and fitting covers.

Dimensions shown on the drawings must be checked against width W, height H, material thickness, bend radius, cable load and the actual installation conditions. When requesting a quotation, provide route drawings or a bill of quantities so The Sun can verify compatibility between straight trays, covers and fittings.

The illustrations below show reference configurations. Joint-hole patterns, bend directions and fitting dimensions can be adjusted to the project standard. Confirm the material, surface-treatment system and quantity before production.

1. Type 1 is the default production configuration.
2. Types 2, 3 and 4 are manufactured on request. Please specify the required type when ordering.

For a fast and accurate quotation, order using The Sun‘s standard code structure below:

Code structure: KC - W x H x T - N - LN - XXX

Where:

• KC: Cable Tray product-family code.
• W x H x T: Dimensions (Width x Height x Thickness) in mm.
• N (Cover): CN (With cover) | KN (Without cover) | ND (Separate cover).
• LN (Joint holes): LN1, LN2, LN3 (Corresponding to the standard joint-hole arrangements).
• XXX (Material):
  • STD: Powder-coated steel.
  • TTK: Pre-galvanized steel.
  • KNN: Hot-dip galvanized steel.
  • INO: 304 stainless steel.

Example:

• KC-200x100x1.2-CN-LN1-STD: 200×100 mm cable tray, 1.2 mm thick, with cover, powder-coated.
