On-Site Export of Cable Trays, Cable Ladders and Electrical Cabinets

1. Cable Trays, Cable Ladders, Electrical Cabinets and Wire Mesh Trays: On-Site Export and Import

On-site export of cable trays and cable ladders, and electrical cabinets between a domestic enterprise and an export-processing enterprise, or an enterprise located in a duty-free zone.

This also covers the sale of cable ladders, cable trunking, electrical cabinets and wire mesh cable trays between a Vietnamese enterprise and a foreign organization or individual with no presence in Vietnam, where the foreign trader designates delivery and receipt of the goods with another enterprise in Vietnam.

2. Customs Clearance Location

On-site export and import customs procedures are carried out at the customs sub-department chosen by the customs declarant, in accordance with the regulations for each type of transaction. The Sun carries out customs procedures at the sub-department chosen by the buyer, usually the one located at the buyer’s industrial zone or export-processing zone.

3. Customs Documentation

Customs documentation for the on-site export and import of electrical cable trays, cable ladders, electrical cabinets and wire mesh cable trays follows the requirements of Article 16 of Circular No. 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015, issued by the Minister of Finance. The Sun declares customs using a VAT invoice or a sales invoice as prescribed by the Ministry of Finance, in place of a commercial invoice.

4. Customs Clearance Timeframe

Under current regulations, the on-site importer must complete customs procedures within 15 working days of the date the exported goods clear customs and the handover of goods is completed.

Declaring the export goods manifest for cable trays together with the combined transport declaration, clearly stating in the “Bonded Transport Destination” field the location code of the customs sub-department handling the import procedures, and in the “Enterprise’s Internal Management Number” field, in accordance with the instructions in Appendix II issued together with Circular No. 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015 by the Minister of Finance.

Carrying out the export procedures for cable trays, cable trunking, cable ladders and electrical cabinets in accordance with regulations;

Delivering the cable trays and cable ladders to the importer once the exported goods have cleared customs.
